Brockport Student Government presents Fork and Film Groundhog Day

To celebrate Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow, the Brockport Student Government (BSG) will host a Groundhog Day themed movie night with snacks in the SUNY Brockport Union Gallery on February 6.

“Groundhog Day”, a 1993 film that stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, a cynical weatherman who finds himself stuck in a time loop reliving the same day over and over again in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

More than 30 years after its release, “Groundhog Day” remains a feel good classic. It delivers a message of personal growth, finding happiness in unexpected ways and the importance of selflessness.

BSG will be showing “Groundhog Day” from 7 to 9 p.m.
