Stu Krieger is an award-winning screenwriter and author; he is also an alumnus of SUNY Brockport. His most recent venture includes launching an audiobook for a novel titled “Raft”. Krieger has a long list of stories and projects under his belt and his new project is sure to continue his legacy. For this project, he chose to include his family to voice the characters in his new audiobook.
Since graduating in 1973, Krieger has worked on co-writing 11 Disney Channel Original Movies such as “Smart House” and “Tru Confessions.” Krieger also screenwrote the ever-popular “The Land Before Time”.
Krieger’s novel Raft is about a struggling children’s author, Clark Whitaker, who can’t seem to catch a break. Clark and his wife are having issues, and his kids are driving him crazy! But when Clark wakes up as a penguin one day, things get even worse for him. Will this new perspective make Clark pen-grin as he writes his next book?
Raft is a story about growing closer with your loved ones and the true meaning of family.
Krieger came back to SUNY Brockport in November 2023 for a visit and sat down for an interview to discuss his story, which can be found on the University’s YouTube page.
This audiobook release comes just in time for the holiday season and is sure to be fun for the whole family. Raft is currently available on Audible and can be ordered on Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
