Brockport Downtown and Masters of Social Work are trying to teach the SUNY Brockport community how to use Narcan to save lives. A free Naloxone (Narcan) training session is available to all SUNY Brockport faculty, staff and students on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Brockport Downtown Snacks will be provided.

Narcan is a medicine used in treating opioid overdoses. It will help restore breathing to someone who has slowed or stopped breathing from an opioid overdose. It will not have any effect on anyone who has no opioids in their body.

Registration is required for this event, all who attend will receive a free Narcan kit.
