Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny performed the Super Bowl LX halftime show on Sunday, Feb 8. Bad Bunny made history as the first to perform his set completely in Spanish, filling Levi’s Stadium with his hit songs, including “DtMF” and “NUEVAYoL.”
While some Super Bowl viewers enjoyed the halftime show’s immersive sets, surprise guests and unifying message, others weren’t impressed by the performance. Some even boycotted the halftime show and opted to watch Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show instead, which featured performances from Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
Bad Bunny’s halftime show continues to receive polarizing reviews, with some praising the show’s storytelling and performance quality and others complaining about the show’s lack of English songs and captions.
