The Brockport Fire District responded to a basement fire at 29 Fair St., Brockport, on Monday, Feb. 2. The road was closed off from the public while crews fought the fire.
As of 9 a.m., the fire was declared second-alarm, and crews from Hamlin, Hilton and Spencerport were called in for additional aid.
Firefighters on the scene reported the homeowners were not inside, and a neighbor made the emergency call. There were no injuries reported.
