The Brockport women’s basketball team earned an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament, the NCAA announced Monday. The Golden Eagles will travel to hosts Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA to play Elizabethtown College in the first round of the tournament.
Brockport earned an at-large bid after falling in the Empire 8 Championship final to SUNY Geneseo. Geneseo earned an automatic spot in the tournament after winning the conference title.
This is the first time the Golden Eagles have made an appearance in the tournament since 2009.
The Golden Eagles will face off against the Bluejays on Friday, with a tipoff time to be announced.
