Just shy of ten years ago was the last eclipse. Today, the campus of SUNY Brockport is in the center line of this total solar eclipse. The campus is open with a live band, music, food trucks and more as the moon slowly approaches its overlap with the sun. People from different counties, cities and states have traveled to witness this event. Students specifically have been not only enjoying the day without classes but taking advantage of all the campus has to offer.

The eclipse is set to last about four minutes starting at 3:20 p.m. More information of the celebrations in Brockport to come in the newest print edition of the newspaper set to arrive on campus Thursday, April 11.
