The SUNY Brockport Volleyball team was back at home this weekend for the first time in almost a month to face two SUNYAC opponents. They came into the weekend with a 10-6 overall record and 1-2 in the conference, an unusual record for the defending SUNYAC champions.

The Golden Eagles came out slower in the second set with a different line-up that lead to a closer match. The score was tied up on 10 separate occasions as the team battled back and forth. Brockport stayed strong though and did not let Potsdam pull ahead. The Golden Eagles won the set 25-23.
Potsdam continued to fight back against Brockport, holding various leads throughout the third set. However, Brockport triumphantly came back from an 11-15 deficit and won the third set 25-21 to complete the sweep.

The Golden Eagles kept up the momentum against the Plattsburgh State Cardinals the next day. The Cardinals came into the matchup with a 6-10 overall record in the season. Brockport easily handled their opponent during the first set. Despite a close start, they would go on various scoring runs to ultimately crush the Cardinals 25-14.
The second set was a more back and forth affair, the Cardinals stuck close to the Golden Eagles for much of the matchup but after closing the gap to 16-14, Brockport only gave up three more points and won 25-17.
Brockport came storming out of the third set with a serving run that put them up 7-1. Plattsburgh attempted to comeback, but the Golden Eagles were too much for them and squashed them 25-16.
