RocDog therapy events returned to the SUNY Brockport campus on September 11, to help ease students’ stress as a new semester begins.

Founded in 2021, RocDog is a “community working dog group” composed of emotional support dogs, therapy dogs and service dogs. With over 260 certified therapy dog teams, RocDog visits areas across Western New York to spread positivity and provide emotional support to those that need it.
This marks the second weekly visit from RocDog so far this semester. This week’s visit was held in McLean Hall, where students gathered to enjoy some stress-free quality time with the furry friends of RocDog.
RocDog therapy dogs will be making their weekly visits to the SUNY Brockport campus each Thursday from 3 to 4 p.m. in various residence halls through the end of the fall semester on December 11. RocDog therapy dogs will also be making a special Saturday appearance at the college’s fall 2025 Open House Programs held on October 18 and November 15 from 12 to 2 p.m.
With weekly visits now a regular fixture at SUNY Brockport, RocDog has quickly become part of campus life helping students relax and unwind one wagging tail at a time.
